The Tether company , which issued the USDT stablecoin with a capitalization of about $140 billion, is preparing to build the Tether Tower skyscraper in El Salvador, where the organization's headquarters will be located.

The company's CEO Paolo Ardoino said the 70-story building will be a testament to President Bukele's commitment to the crypto industry.

The tower will be a symbol of the country's prosperity and growth, Ardoino said, emphasizing that Tether does not plan to put its logo on the building.

In addition to Tether, the building will house other companies, including its partner Rumble, which recently struck a deal with the local government to provide cloud computing services.

We need stability and an adequate regulatory framework, and El Salvador is one of the few countries that has really understood the potential of digital assets,” Ardoino added, explaining the move of headquarters to El Salvador.
