They noted that against the backdrop of the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov, the DOGS token debuted on major exchanges around the world. The unexpected arrest of the entrepreneur intensified interest in the new asset, creating a stir in social networks.

Immediately after the listing, users encountered problems accessing DOGS tokens, which caused widespread discontent and questions to the TON blockchain infrastructure. Community representatives noted that the congestion led to block creation being suspended for several hours, requiring urgent intervention from the TON Core team. The situation was reminiscent of the Ethereum network problems in 2017 caused by the launch of CryptoKitties, which also led to serious issues.

“A key component of the TON ecosystem - Telegram Wallet - was also affected: users complained of access failures and the Earn tab temporarily stopped working. Despite the team's assurances about the safety of the assets, trust in the platform was undermined,” the specialists assured.
